Even if your scanner has issues, this is still a lovely piece of art. I loved this moment in the book even though it's kind of sad because it was the last time they were together as humans.

Oh, before I read the description I thought it was Louis. :O
The hair-cut seems far more Louis to me than Nicolas.

But that's not why I wanted to comment, I wanted to comment to say that I find this really nicely done. It looks lovely.

And well, now that I know it is Nicolas. Thanks for making more Nicolas fanart! :D

Wow . Thank you for this interesting comment! :happycry:
Lestat said that Louis looks like Nicolas . In my imagination Louis have more straight hair . But someday I want draw him too so you'll see ;-)
And sorry for my English

Well, yes, Louis and Nicki are alike, as well in looks as in personality.
Yet, I think it is a common misconception that Louis has straight hair. He's almost always portrayed that way, I wonder if it is because of Brad Pitt having straight hair as Louis in Interview with the Vampire the movie.
Though the original book of Interview with the Vampire clearly speaks of Louis as having curls:
"His eyes moved slowly over the finely tailored cape, the black silk tie knotted at the throat, and the gleam of the white collar that was as white as the vampire's flesh. He stared at the vampire's full black hair, the waves that were combed back over the tips of the ears, the CURLS that barely touched the edge of the white color." - Page 4 in my copy.
So it also seems that except for the curls the haircut of your Nicolas has also about the right length for Louis.
I also always imaged Louis with larger curls, but I do know from the top of my head if that's based on the books or not.

Also, in The Vampire Lestat it is mentioned that Nicolas's hair is very curly, which I think can't be without it having small curls instead of those larger ones. I quote:
"Dressed in a splendid brocade coat of rose and gold, he wore slippers with gold heels, and layers of Italian lace at his collar. Only his hair was what it used to be, dark and very curly, and boyish looking for some reason though it was tied back with a fine bit of sil ribbon." - Part 1 Lelio Rising, Chapter 3

The reason I go these extends to prove a point is not because I want to pull you or your artwork down.
I think your artwork is GREAT. And it doesn't even really matter whether every detail is in sync with the books.
No, the reason I'm doing all this is because I've got somewhat an obsession about being right and getting the truth to people.

I hope reading English is easier for you than reading...
Otherwise I'm really sorry I am making you read so much of it. :/

This is really REALLY AWESOME! :omfg:
Yes,now I see it...I must confess to you. I don't like Louis . And it's because of Brad Pitt ( everybody must hate me for that). I regret that I saw the movie before I read all books. I suffer from prejudice :worry:

Oh, what's the matter with Louis / Brad playing him? :O
I for one love Louis, even though I can imagine people finding him too whiney, and I thought Brad did a great job playing him.

I also saw the movie of Interview with the Vampire before I read the books, but frankly I barely followed what was going on that first time I saw.
But I think that might have something to do with the fact that I saw a crappy internet version without subtitles the first time I saw it, and during that time my English wasn't very good yet.
Also I believe there might have been some scenes missing then.
And I think I had even forgotten about ever seeing the movie when I started reading the book.

And don't worry about prejudices, everybody suffers from them to some extent. ;)
